Crumbl Copycat Twix Cookies
These cookies are absolutely delicious! They seriously taste like a Twix in cookie form. The cookie is a delicious, buttery shortbread cookie that is simple to make and takes no refrigeration. The caramel topping is thick and gooey and it is topped with melted chocolate and chopped Twix bars. These cookies will be the talk of the party! This recipe is better than Crumbl's cookie. They have more flavor. My family went wild over them when I made them. If you are looking for a crowd pleaser, then this recipe will be it! I hope you love this recipe as much as we do!
Preparation:
1. Preheat the oven to 325°F.
2. In a medium-sized mixing bowl combine the Butter and the Sugar. Cream it well.
3. Add the Egg, Whipping Cream, Vanilla, Baking Powder, and the Flour. Mix it well. You should be able to roll the dough without it being sticky. If it is sticky, add a little more flour to it.
4. Grease a baking sheet. Roll balls of dough that are about 1 1/2 inches in diameter. Flatten the dough with the palm of your hand. Bake for 15 minutes.
5. Remove the cookies from the oven. Let them cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then move the cookies to a cooling rack to finish cooling. Click here for the Extra Large Baking Sheets that I love!
6. When the cookies are cooled, unwrap the Caramels and place them in a saucepan. Add the Cream and turn the stove onto a medium heat. Cook it, stirring constantly, until the caramel is melted and smooth.
7. While the caramel is still warm, spread it on the cookies. It will harden if it isn't warm.
8. Melt the Chocolate. I like to melt mine in the microwave, but you can also melt it on a medium heat on the stove. Spread the melted chocolate over the top of the caramel. Chop the Twix Bars and place some of the pieces on top of the melted chocolate.
9. Serve and enjoy!
