This is a delicious recipe that takes almost no hands-on time at all! I love that I can cook it in the slow cooker and have a delicious dinner at the end of the day. This BBQ Beef recipe has tons of flavor and it is tender and juicy. My family all loves this meal and always eats it well. It also freezes well so that you can save it for a busy night. It also makes the house smell amazing! This recipe works great for a weeknight meal, or for a potluck. It will be a crowd pleaser or sure. I hope you love this recipe as much as we do!
Preparation:
1. Heat a frying pan on medium heat and add 2 Tbl. of the Olive Oil. Sprinkle the Roast with Salt and Pepper. Fry the Roast on both sides until it is browned. Remove the meat from the pan and place it in the Crock Pot.
2. Dice the Onion and sauté it in the same frying pan. Add remaining 1 Tbl. Olive Oil to the Onion and cook it until it is tender.
3. In a mixing bowl add the Brown Sugar, cooked Onion, Beef Bullion, Cayenne Pepper, Water Vinegar, Dry Mustard, and the Salt. Stir it and pour it over the beef.
4. Turn the Crock Pot on low and cook for 8 hours, or on High and cook for 5-6 hours.
5. Remove the roast from the Crock Pot and shred the meat with a fork.
6. Return the Beef to the Crock Pot and add the Ketchup and the Worcestershire Sauce. Let it cook on low for 1 more hour.
7. Serve and enjoy!
