Cornbread is one of those comfort foods that I love to make to go with any soup. I especially love cornbread with Chili! It is one of the foods that I grew up loving. My husband, on the other hand, grew up hating it! After we got married, I made cornbread for dinner and he groaned. He was a good sport and ate it to make me happy, but he didn’t just eat one piece, he ate about 4! He loved it! He had never eaten anything that good, and now he is always very excited when we eat it! My kids also love cornbread and will eat it anytime. I love it because it is simple to make, tastes good, and you can eat it anytime. I love to eat it with butter, jam, or honey. This is a sweet cornbread recipe. I hope you love it as much as we do!

Ingredients:

1 ½ c. Flour

¾ c. Sugar

1 c. Yellow Cornmeal (not coarse)

4 tsp. Baking Powder

1 tsp. Salt

2 Eggs

1 c. Sour Cream

1 c. Evaporated Milk

½ c. Canola Oil
